"How to start talking about my exchange? As talk of a year in life, or rather, of my life in a year? I'm already in the final stage, in another week, I'll be home, my dear and beloved Brazil. Speaking thus're looking like you really want to go back Breno huh? No, quite the contrary. This year was just the best year of my entire life. Every time I stop to think about it, look at pictures, and remember the whole experience, the thought that comes to mind is the feeling that everything was done, it was 100% perfect.

I'm living in trendy and very famous American city of Las Vegas, Nevada. But make no mistake, my exchange was not playing at the casino all the time. Las Vegas is much more than that; Las Vegas saw a few people know. This country is simply wonderful; is and will always be my second home. Unlike most exchange students who come to the United States, staying in small towns (population between 3 and 100 000 inhabitants), I ended up getting in a big city (Vegas has about 2 million people), and this was another reason that made my experience unique. My host family was the best I could have stayed. Besides the parents, I had a sister and a brother. Funny, very easy to deal with, attentive; simply the best. We laughed a lot, took me to meet many places, done many things together. They literally treated me like a son. I am eternally grateful for everything they did for me. The AFS hit the family choice (and as hit). The school was huge, 3,000 students played football and had many friends. They were the best and will also be marked forever in my memory. We did a lot together, they were awesome! Very caring teachers, created by friendships with some of them. I was not only in Vegas. Met the states of Utah, Arizona, California and the glamorous last but not least: the paradise of Hawaii, where I had the best trip of my life.
